Changes to Fee Structures & Notice of New Transport Canada Requirements

To ensure continued regulatory compliance and the delivery of high-quality Dangerous Goods training and documentation, please review the following important updates.


1. Course Fee Adjustment

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

To maintain high-quality training and remain aligned with current regulatory standards, the regular course fee will increase by $5, excluding WHIMIS. 


2. Updates to Production Charges

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

Production fees for the following services will increase by approximately 10–15%:

  • Dangerous Goods Manuals
  • Custom Training Courses

Accurate quotations and production timelines will continue to be provided to all prospective and existing clients.


3. Mandatory Transport Canada Requirement: CID Registration

Status: Currently in Effect

Transport Canada has confirmed the following requirement:

“Any company must register with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Client Identification Database (CID) before TDG documents can be reviewed by the Dangerous Goods Division or Inspectors. Registration is mandatory under Part 17 of the TDG Regulations.”

Important Notice:
No further Dangerous Goods Manualsmanual amendments, or training course changes will be processed without valid CID registration.


4. Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA)

Status: Currently in Effect

All Dangerous Goods Manuals and Training Programs must comply with current Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) requirements.

This applies to:

  • New manuals and training programs
  • Revisions and amendments to existing documentation
  • Training course updates and approvals
