This course is for people who are required to prepare ship or transport dangerous goods by road. If over 500k of cargo, or more than 5 drums of fuel, or carrying air cylinders, then they must have full driver certification, which requires the Surface Transport Shipper by Road course. This is a stand-alone program and does not require any reference materials. They Must have placards and container certifications. A copy of the current edition of the I.A.T.A. Dangerous Goods Regulations must be available for reference when taking this program.
